GORP cropFor years I have heard the term GORP and associated it with trail mix but never really knew where the name came from. Well, thanks to Google, I have recently found out that GORP may be an acronym for “good old raisins and peanuts” or alternately, “granola, oats, raisins, peanuts.” But whatever the acronym, GORP is trail mix and can be a nutritionally dense and tasty treat that can provide long-lasting energy, making it perfect for summer outdoor activities like hiking.

New Study: Vitamin D Can Help Fight Treatment Resistant Cancer

This is mainly because the tumors that develop once chemotherapy has begun start to develop resistance against anticancer drugs, making chemotherapy less effective.
