Dr. Duffy MacKay is a licensed naturopathic doctor and was a co-owner and practitioner in a family-owned New Hampshire integrative medicine practice for 7 years. In addition to his hands-on experience as a practitioner in the field of integrative medicine, he spent 8 years working as a medical consultant for companies in the dietary supplement industry. Currently, Dr. MacKay leads Scientific and Regulatory Affairs for the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), the leading trade association representing dietary supplement manufacturers and ingredient suppliers. Dr. MacKay also serves on several advisory and editorial boards including American Botanical Council, United States Pharmacopeia, Integrative Medicine and Clinicians Journal, and others. Dr. MacKay maintains a part-time practice where he enjoys assisting patients with integrating naturopathic medicine into their lives to support health, wellness, and chronic disease management.
Dr. MacKay received his naturopathic medical degree from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon, and Bachelor of Science from University California, Santa Cruz.

Dr. Keri Marshall is a licensed naturopathic doctor who specializes in pediatrics, women’s medicine and chronic disease management. Dr. Marshall practices integrative family medicine and works with her patients to help them determine how best to incorporate nutrition and wellness into their daily lives. Dr. Marshall has published several scientific papers and magazine articles, written a book on proteins and amino acids, and appears regularly in the media including ABC’s “A View from the Bay,” PBS’s “Healing Quest” and National Public Radio. Dr. Marshall has served as a scientific adviser for Citizens for Health, a clinical adviser for Nordic Naturals, and a nutrition adviser for the United States Sugar Association. She has also served as a nutrition expert in her local public school district and, on a national level, for the Alliance for a Healthier Generation. Dr. Marshall serves on several advisory boards for peer reviewed journals and is currently the Medical Director for Gaia Herbs, the leader in organic herbal products.
Dr. Marshall received her naturopathic medical degree from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, OR, a Masters in Epidemiology from SUNY at Buffalo, and Bachelor of Science from George Washington University in Washington, DC.

A new study published in Archives of Internal Medicine, says that the there are 4 bad habits that can shorten your life by 12 years. Lack of physical activity, smoking, diet and alcohol consumption can put you at risk for a shortened life span. Specifically, exercising less than 2 hours a week, consuming more than 3 alcoholic beverages per day (2 for women), eating less than 3 servings of fruits and vegetables per day, and smoking.
