chlorellaI recently received an email from a customer who was interested in supplementing with greens, specifically chlorella and spirulina. Spirulina and chlorella are nutrient-dense algae grown in mineral-rich pools of fresh water. Although both these algae look and taste very similar and offer some similar benefits, they also offer very different nutritional profiles and if you are going to choose one, it best to know which one will offer the nutritional aspects that will be most beneficial to you.

We all know the benefits of eating spinach, broccoli, cabbage and kale, but there are different kinds of greens that also offer amazing nutritional value, as well as many potential health benefits.
