Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils from plants for healing. Although scent is a key component in the use of essential oils, they can also be applied to the skin in a massage for other direct health benefits.

Essential oils are concentrated extracts taken from the roots, leaves, seeds, or blossoms of plants. Each contains its own mix of active ingredients, and this mix determines what the oil is used for. Some oils are used to promote physical healing – for example, to treat swelling or fungal infections. Get Rid of Head Lice Naturally

I don’t think there is anything that parents fear most, than their children coming home with head lice. Just thinking about is making my skin crawl! Unfortunately, millions of kids contract these teeny tiny blood sucking lice every year.

Although lice do not carry disease, they are super itchy and uncomfortable for those that are affected.

Since fall seems to be the time of year that lice spread, here are some handy tips to help decrease the likelihood of your child bringing them home. Continue reading “Get Rid of Head Lice Naturally”
