Every day I send my kids to school with strawberries, carrots, blueberries, cukes and carrots… and many days they come right back. Even trying my best, my kids won’t always eat what I wish they would, so this is when I turn to supplements. I realize that nothing can replace the quality, variety and even the availability of nutrients found in food, and in no way are supplements a replacement for a proper meal. But I also don’t want to my children to be deficient in important nutrients.
If you are like me and have children who turn their noses up at all things green, and you need to make a decision about what to do to ensure your kids aren’t missing out on vitamins and minerals, here is a free seminar in the Washington DC Metro area. Hannah Bradford, an acupuncturist and health researcher, will discuss how common nutrient deficiencies can have profound effects on your child’s physical and mental health. At this talk you will learn the function of these nutrients, how to address your child’s needs, and tips on how to choose the best supplements for your child. In addition she will review testing options for individualized vitamin and mineral supplementation.
Hannah is certified in Biological Medicine through the Paracelsus Klinik in Switzerland and has completed further training at the Klinghardt Academy in the United States. Her training with Dietrich Klinghardt, MD, PhD, includes Autonomic Response Testing, neural therapy, light therapy, and detoxification and immune system regeneration strategies.
